About The Gypsy Wagon:

The first Gypsy Wagon is located at the hub of Henderson Avenue in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by some of the city's best restaurants and wonderful shops. The building is almost 100 years old, and is just how we like it: quirky.

Our second location is nestled in the trees on historic Elk Avenue in Crested Butte, Colorado. Crested Butte is my favorite place on earth, so it makes perfect sense for us to hitch another Wagon there.

At The Gypsy Wagon we strive to carry gifts and home items that are handmade

, that are produced with recycled or sustainable materials, and that are made by people and companies who care. I hand pick every single gift and home item for the store. For our clothing selection, we use the word “boho” not as a reference to a trend, but as a state of mind. It exemplifies a nomadic spirit, a love for nature, a girl with a song in her heart.  Wagoneer style is accomplished with a creative thought, the right components, and playful execution.  What I love most about Wagoneer style is that it is approachable and fun-filled. When done perfectly, it brings out your inner goddess, without seeming like you’re trying too hard.

We have amassed a group of Featured Artists that we adore.

They are gifted at their craft, they work so hard, and they make beautiful art! Each one is an inspiration. Surrounding ourselves with cool, talented people makes all our hard work worthwhile. We feel this way about our customers, too, as they are the ones who motivate us to create, to change, and to grow. Customer happiness is our reward!

So, who exactly is The Gypsy Wagon?

It's me and my true love, Johnny Seale, who is our Grand Poobah of Operations. And that he is!  We have a truly amazing staff, which we refer to as the Wagoneers. And they are:
Molly McBride is the Head Buyer for Apparel and Jewelry, and she's also the brainchild of Molly's Style. Molly can make anyone look like they belong in a field of wildflowers.
Sophie Lawson is a Buyer and motivator. She buys apparel with Molly, home and gift with me, and she spreads sunshine on everyone she meets.
Julia Soniat is our Crowd Pleaser, and please she does! Julia creates customer smiles and is our social media goddess. She also is our in-house bunny whisperer for our pet rabbit, Prince Henderbunz.
Vincent Maggio is our Merchandising Director. Vince's gift of incorporating vintage finds into a modern boutique environment helps make your in-store experience shopable and inspiring.
Julie Moore is our Store Chief in Colorado. She basically does everything that the entire Dallas team does, but by herself. Julie is a true mountain honey, inside and out!
Cristin Caulfield is our Party Planner and Cristin-of-all-Trades. Cristin oversees store events and ensures our mini fridge is stocked with mini-beer, which is the most important job out of anyone’s.

Alika Ray is the beautiful gal you see in the majority of our photographs. She is a professional model (duh!), and a Wagoneer on the side. She is a stunning person, and I am not talking about her looks.

The other Wagoneers who keep this place hoppin' include Gentry and Courtney in Dallas, and Jes in Crested Butte. These gals pop in and save the day on a regular basis. We couldn’t survive without their fresh faces and good attitudes.

Special thanks

go out to the talented folks at Gillen's Army for creating our happy home on the Web.

The Gypsy Wagon Way

is all about celebrating people and having fun. It's about combining comfort with style, and living with a skip in your step. We feel it's important to celebrate the little things like mini-beer and Dum-dums. If you want one, just ask. Enjoy!

We'll see you at the Wagon!
